I currently live in Harrison Arkansas. We pay for 12Mb/s down & 1Mb/s up from Ritter Communications. Simple usable Internet speeds. Nothing extraordinary. However, speed tests from Google and speedtest.net repeatedly show we’re actually getting ~1Mb/s down & ~0.5Mb/s up. Calling time and again “fixes” it for maybe 12hrs or so. Inexcusable horrible service over the entirety of the life of services provided. The only reason we use Ritter Communications is because we don’t have another choice based the “service areas” that have been predetermined by ISP conglomerates for our area. We unfortunately pay for services that are far from what is actually provided. If you have another choice, I highly suggest that you avoid Ritter at all costs.
A little background info about myself, I used to work for Matmon Internet Inc. A company that was and might still be the primary web development company for Ritter Communications. I want to not that it was always considerably disheartening when developing each of their new location specific landing pages. They are and never were of the current era, and even years later, they are still laughable. It’s a real shame considering there is code I have written for their website that I’m sure survives to this day. However, their services continue to be considerably lacking.
I wish I could say that this company provides great service for their customers. I want to be a supporter considering I have sort of worked for them in the past. This however is not the case. I am disappointed to say that Ritter Communications provides far from satisfactory services to it’s end users.
